The hero of this tale rested under the bows of a spreading chestnut tree. Most tales of this sort would focus on great men doing great things. Kings, queens, and knights are always present in tales of these sorts. A man clad in bright and shining armor, a crimson plume on the helm, sitting astride a white charger with a lance to impale the dragon and save the damsel in distress.
